Greetings everyone! If you have installed a Bully Dog ECU performance product on a pretty much stock 2nd Generation Tundra, 5.7 liter, please reply/post and comment on how the drivability of the truck changed. I use my 2007 as a personal utility vehicle and am looking to make it more fun to drive. Not really looking for more top end horse power or torque but rather more responsiveness, hp, and torque at 3,000 RPM and below, since that is where I drive almost all of the time. I do not tow and I am typically the only one in the vehicle. Stock wheels. Thank you!

I had the older buly dog gt when it first came out. Ran it with long tube headers on the trail tune. Gave some extra hp/ torque and throttle response. Guess sct has the new box tuner for $400.
I'll sell you my old gt unit...:D

Thank you Mdl and Tundra1D6. Since posting that question, I have learned a bit more. Bulley Dog, the company, was purchased by a private equity company a few years ago. BIG RED FLAG as those companies hype the brand, do not invest in product improvements, and try to cut expenses whenever possible. I texted their customer service, worst service I have ever received. So their pretty dated product and poor customer service is not for me. Since then, I have learned about various tunes, including the OTT, Overland Torque Tune. This one appears to be the most popular with Tacoma and Tundra owners. The OTT is constantly improving (I think they are on version 10 or 11 now), and their network of tuners across the country appear to be First Class. I have texted a few and I received prompt, helpful and knowledgable replies. Have spoken on the phone to one in my area and that went really well. So I will be getting the OTT when I am back home in September.
