I am preparing for a road trip around the US for some photography work around June. Trying to come up with a list of things that may make the traveling easier. I will not be staying in hotels. This is what I currently have

    Leitner rack
    James Baroud Grand Raid XXL
    Arb elements fridge

    What I will be ordering

    Dual battery system
    4 Baja designs squadron sport
    Stove
    Gas cans
    Shower system

Is there anything you can think of that I may be missing for essentials? This will be a 30+ day trip starting from Maine. Thanks in advance!

Man, I'd love to have this equipment! You outfit yourself or get some expenses covered? That Grand Raid XXL is sweet!

I vote you add an awning to your rack, on whichever side has the stairs for the RTT. It kind of expands your privacy area, for everything from showering, dressing, nighttime toilet runs or, if you'll have a companion, could be a separate place to hang out and read if one of you can't sleep, but the other needs to. You doing overland, or pavement mostly?

And, is this something for which you can start a thread? I'd definitely follow along?

Haha I will start a thread when it’s warmer out and I have everything on the truck. James Baroud is coming out with a vestibule for the tent which I will definitely grab. Trip will be mostly solo. Not all pavement, but no extreme wheeling. As for the funding, I got my gi bill to cover roughly 50k in photography equipment, including the tent and computers.

Will you be stopping by different Toyota’s for maintenance?
I would definitely invest in a set of tools. Maybe a full size jack.
    Snatch and or tow strap
    Recovery gear
