Hello all. I have owned two Tundras...a 2002 and a 2018. I'm a bit concerned with some of the comments I've seen out there about the new 3.4L 6 cylinder. Also have seen many of these same years up for sale. Can't say I'm interested in this new engine. Looking for a 5.7L circa 2018-2021. Live on the north coast of CA. I've also done some online research through CarMax, Edmunds, TrueCar, Cars.com, et al. Researched several specific dealerships. Still looking and happy to entertain any input. Thanks. Mark

I'd for sure look for a s cal truck with no salt exposure if I could

also- if you find the truck you really want, don't dilly dally. Nice ones sell fast and at a premium.

Curious what happened to your previous trucks. I bought my 2021 in 2022 specifically because of the engine change as well as it being the first model year. I have not seen anything since then that would change my approach if I were buying today. I simply do not care about the other new features of gen3, but I came from a first model year, so this truck has a crap ton of stuff I did not have on my first one. The biggest thing thing to understand is that you will likely pay way more than you imagined and will have to move very fast.
