Hello 1st Gen Tundra folks! I was helping pull a friendly local ski instructor out of a ditch last night and accidentally snapped a chain, which in turn ripped my passenger rear fender off... so I thought I'd see if anyone has an OEM one lying around I could pick up? Shoot me a PM if you've got one you're looking to part with (or if you've got recommendations for simple classic rubber ones)!

PS - it's always fun to pull bigger trucks outta ditches with our "little" trucks!

It’s good you weren’t in the path. I’ve seen a chain snap and destroy a tailgate pulling a stump out. Not pretty. I won’t use anything but tow straps after seeing that.

Absolutely agree with you @Jack McCarthy! I only use tow straps for the same reason (watched a chain go straight through an old Series IIA Land Rover tailgate). Thankfully it was only the tire chain and they'd had a good long life with plenty of use getting me unstuck from dumb choices.
