Just joined to get some info on purchasing a tundra. I'm looking into a 2016 sr5 I live on 40acres and have a small homestead but also do a lot of camping and traveling. what are the benefits of getting a TRD vs just an sr5? if i am only doing minor off-roading is the extra cost necessary

I think the TRD has shocks that extend further than standard, probably one of the main 'real' enhancements over an sr5, the rest are mostly cosmetic, lower profile tires if you like that kind of thing...I think the ride is harsher on trd, better highway ride with sr5, less costly tires too. Luck deciding.
