Also 100k miles is a little more than I’d like but also not sure how much better I can find with a 15 y/o truck

It’s 2wd…for a camping set up I’d steer away. Unless this is a full on pre runner camping setup :boink:

I'm 5'10" ish and the seat height is not too tall at all.

I also agree with @1stgentundradriver word for word.

Additionally, it's documented that these motors can be brought to one million miles. I wouldn't focus on only looking for the lowest mileage ones you can find, but of course the less mileage likely the better. Plan on doing a timing belt change unless it's documented it was just done (like this one was).

These trucks are 15+ years old now and the supply of them at less than 100,000 miles shrinks everyday. With the market today, you're limiting yourself to higher prices than you need to.

With that being said, IF it was 4WD and the undercarriage showed no rust, the price wouldn't be too bad.

Undercarriage rust is huge risk, as is the timing belt, but they took care of the latter it seems.

I'd do your best to get a Carfax and make sure the truck has never been in a road salt state. But also go over the underneath with a fine tooth comb to look for rust.

Price isn't horrible for how it's optioned, but the 2WD aspect may be a downer. Not sure where you intend to camp, but having the extra weight out back, having 4WD would be a big value-add, and on the west coast, may end up pushing the truck cost up another $2-4k over the price of that one.

I'm going to say if the title and the frame are clean then this is a great deal (considering the times). If you can manage without 4WD, all based on your plans for the truck then you should move forward, offer a bit less and see where you wind up.

Let's be real - it's low mileage, new tires, 2 owner and appears to be very clean and has a recent service that included the timing belt. Are you kidding me - this is what we all look for when buying a 16 year old truck!!!

Let the haters hate but I'd snatch this up (again clean title and frame)...

If it checks-off the right boxes for you, offer $13,500.00 .
If you can get it for $14K even that's a fair price in todays market, especially if everything checks out.

Like others said wouldn't be too scared of higher mileage if it was well maintained. Watch out for rust though!

I "canopy camp" in the back of mine several times a year, usually solo but occasionally with my wife or kid for quick camp/hike trips. Works great.

100k isn't high miles for these trucks. They'll clear 400k no problem.

That's pretty clean, but the options confuse me. TRD, but no 4wd. Wood grain, but no limited. I bet it's got an LSD just to be extra weird.
