Long trip, suspension question

Just got back home after a trip to Raleigh NC.
Tacked on 1,600 miles, averaged 17.1 mpg. doing 70-75 mph on highways combined with city and rural driving.
I’m good with that!
The Tundra rode amazing.
It really is a nice long road trip vehicle to ride in. I do not get tired driving it!
Anyway, I would like to ask Tundra experts here a question about the front end.
When driving over bumpy road seams, or large road cracks, the steering wheel will whip (torque) out of
my hands slightly if I don’t have a firm grip.
Not sure if I’m explaining it correctly but wondering if
there is help for this.
Would different shocks or one of those cool
looking red suspension rods help to
control the steering wheel whip? Or is all this very normal?
It has the TRD off road pkg.

 

Op this has a few implications... things that help are aftermarket steering rods, urethane rack bushings it will tighten up the steering. Additionally a proper alignment will help too increase caster to 2-4 , 0 out toe and camber and remove adjustment for road crown and the truck will track and operate much better. Suspension does play a little bit of a part but doing the things mentioned above will help emensely
