    Good morning all,
I just signed up to the forum. I drive a 2013 Tundra basic in my day to day work for the Boy Scouts and have recently purchased a 19 limited for myself. Been doing all the work on the 13 myself so I have some experience. My work has two sides, Manage a Camp for Scouting youth volunteer firefighter in southern NM. I don't so social media stuff, don't have time for that sort of thing but thought I might join this.

I thought they dropped the "Boy" in Boy Scouts. Is it true? Sad for this former Scout if true.

Don't want to get in the weeds here of represent Scouting and their thoughts but only speaking as myself. LOL, old timer, hard to do some changes. Yes, National did change that but the business is still BSA dba Scouting America. If you think about it, every Unit had sisters who wanted to come out and do the things the brother was doing. It's natural and fun. We males also failed our daughters in not being more involved in GSA. That's a hard thing to say and lots to unpack but generally true. Don't want to start a war. So, Scouting decided to bring Girls in. Has it changed things, yes. Is it for the best, frankly, yes. I to, was a Scout in my youth. We all have seen the world change. My hope and Prayer is that this change will raise up some great female leaders, as scouting has done for the boys and we all grow. Cant make things better from the outside, got to get dirty to improve. Hope that helps some. I understand your thoughts, but ask you and all to still support the program. The program core is ever so valuable. Keep the faith.
