So I parked my 2010 5.7 RCSB for 6 weeks. To preserve the battery I disconnect both terminals. Just like I do with my 2 Land Cruisers neither of which have computers.
I know that it takes the computer some time to go thru its logic reset sequence. I’m asking if anyone knows how long this takes? I’ve heard 10 min and 30 min from someone else.

It started and immediately quit. Did that twice. But then I took it for a drive and all good.

Are you doing something special to prevent rodent damage to the wiring and cabin while storing? Just kinda curious.

No. Not a concern where I live. I’ve honestly killed over 300 rats in the last decade. But I’m on top of them now. Just don’t have the issue any more.
