Just rebuilt the engine on my 2007 5.7L V8.
As part of the rebuild I upgraded to an S& B cold air intake kit. Everything else is stock.

Once started, it runs like brand new. But getting it started is cringe-worthy. It has an excessive long start turnover before it will actually start running. It kind of seems fuel related, but the injectors were all rebuilt and if it was a fuel pump or injector issue I imagine there would be symptoms when the truck was running, but like I said it runs beautifully once started. I know it takes 20 to 50 start cycles for the ECU to relearn, but I'm approaching those 50 starts and the problem continues.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
