I have combed over hours and hours of crank,no start issues and I’m about to throw in the towel ! Beautiful 2010 TRD Sport that I got from a family member and I was told that it needed an ECU but before going that route I tried everything that I’ve read online bypassed the fuel pressure control module , tried resetting the ECU with the 4/13 on the OBD2 port, cleaned grounds and even replaced the battery ground .. finally replaced the ECU and did the 4/13 again for 30 minutes! There was 28 codes for the engine and every single airbag threw a code new ECU has 8 codes but still has the immobilizer code .. all camshaft sensors , h coil ‍♂️ I looked over the wiring but didn’t see anything that stood out so any help would be greatly appreciated ! Truck only has 116k

Thank you for the reply bud ! There was a little bit of droppings on the intake but for Washington state it wasn’t much but it was enough for me to comb over the wiring I could see and everything looked fine ‍♂️

What’s the missing history for this truck. Just threw codes one day? Survived a flood during a hurricane? Struck by lightening?

The only history I have was it was running and driving then one day wasn’t … but the lightening thing is seeming more like a possibility lol as of right now the truck will start but then immediately die .. and if I try to restart it won’t fire ,just keep cranking by itself till I bring the key back to the off position but if I remove the key and try it again,it’ll immediately refire and die

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! You might want to try posting your details in the Ask the Toyota Mechanic thread, or post a thread on the 2nd Gen forum. There are some really smart guys, some of whom are Toyota mechs, retired or otherwise, and they might can help. They just don't monitor the New Intro forum.

I hope you've found the tabs at the top of the site, but if you haven't look for the Forums tab with the down arrow beside it. Click on that arrow to get to where you want to go.

The search function at the top right is also very useful. This site is arguably the best source of Tundra info to be found anywhere, including Toyota's site. TONS of info for those willing to search, and a TON of awesome members willing to help you.

I absolutely agree ! All the useful information that I’ve found about this Tundra has been here ! Actually the whole reason I signed up was because of a member named Jeff 5.7 , I felt like his knowledge has helped me a ton this far
