Look at Diamondback. You can remove it or just put the hay on top.

I’m ordering the Bak Revolver X4s soon. Rolls up for full bed use without blocking the rear window, locks with tailgate closed and can put 400lbs on top of the cover is ever desired.

As a diamondback owner I’ll say it’s not the most convenient cover to remove since the panels are 50 lbs apiece, and it requires tools. I even use this as an excuse when neighbors bug me about picking up appliances or taking large items to the dump for them.

However, I do haul stuff on top quite a bit, so there is that option. And it’s both secure and weatherproof.

Another vote for the Diamondback HD….fully lockable, water tight and no real need to remove it. You can stack hay on the cover. I’ve yet to fully remove mine to carry anything in the bed….I just removed the back panel once to transport a tall object in the bed. Yeah, they’re not cheap….once you get over the sticker shock, it’s totally worth the investment if you plan on keeping your truck for awhile.

    I had a Retrax on my 2005.
Worked well, but I could hear it rattle with the rear window down.
I hear they might have fixed it.
    It locked into any position.
The can takes up a lot of space but it can be removed with tools.
The entire thing comes off, rails and all.

I considered a Diamondback for my 2014, but it just seemed overkill for my needs.

I have an Undercover Flex now.
Not sure if I'd call it lockable, it locks down and the tailgate needs to be open to open.
But it doesn't have an external lock on it.
    Been happy with the Flex.
I wouldn't say it is waterproof, but it keeps most of the rain out.

It opens up for almost a full bed, but if needed it comes off without tools.
The rails stay on, they are attached to your bed rails, the top comes off pretty easy.
    I added the extra tie-downs.

The black clamps were after I bought the bed rail system, the silver clamps were before I had the bed rail system.

It came with cheap drain tubes but I customized mine a little..
