The Terminal Canister Purge Solenoid on my 2000 Tundra needs to be replaced. I've been told that it is located by the gas tank. My husband looked yesterday and for the life of him cannot find it. Help????

Apologies for not being able to answer your question (I have a 2021); but I will say welcome to the fourm. Others will jump in soon and help you locate the solenoid I'm sure. Please post some pictures of your truck!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm just trying to help my hard working hubby find out where this part is located. He has a lot on his plate right now, work and home, and now this thing with the truck.

Should be drivers side of engine bay on top with all of the other emissions stuff. Has a couple of vacuum hoses going in and out of it. My 2000 is not here right now or I would snap a pic for you. Do you know what the part looks like?
