2012 Tundra CM that I love but so many little things that I don't know how to fix and everything is super expensive to have fixed. Need some help..
    1. Windshield wiper fluid pump not getting power or it's busted. Fuse is good. Next step to buy a pump and replace it. Where should I buy parts online?

    2. Horn started not working intermittently, now doesn't work at all. If I push the panic button on the key the horn works so I'm guessing something electrical. Fuse is good, so I'm debating if I want to dig into checking the "harness" behind the steering wheel which is completely outside my comfort level considering I think it may be a bad idea for me to dig into. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Before you buy a new pump for the wiper fluid, check the lines and nozzels. They can rot over the years, and some times need to be replaced. If they are not rotted I would try blowing out the lines to see if they've clogged or gotten gummed up.

If you do need to buy any OEM part try Roman's OEM thread. -> https://www.tundras.com/threads/ultimate-oem-toyota-parts-thread.10707/

I'm wondering if you have a ribbon cable in the steering column issue.

As for the pump, Toyota has been using the same pump for 30 years. Get one out of any Toyota if you actually need one(Which you don't).

Horn issue is likely a clock spring issue.

If it still works with the key fob

Don't know what a clock spring is or a ribbon cable. Where should I start with the horn? As for the pump, I'll be taking the reservoir out this weekend and testing if I am getting power to the pump. Thank you for the feedback!

The ribbon cable and click spring are the same thing. It's located under the steering wheel in the steering column. Your horn and cruise control quite often are effected when it goes bad.Screenshot_20191111-211351.jpg

Thank you! Got the windshield wiper reservoir pump out today and confirmed that the pump had failed by plugging in the new one and it working. The new one (Trico washer pump part #11-612) works fine but was the cheapest aftermarket one costing 20$ whereas the OEM part was 65 new and 30 used (couldn't find a used one within driving distance and shipping was too much).
You can laugh at me and I would deserve it but this one fix took me the better part of an afternoon to figure out (NOVICE) but I got it done and saving money any way I can is very important currently.

Leading in too many words to my follow up questions; Is going cheap aftermarket ok on the steering wheel ribbon? What website have you found to be the best priced/ quality? AND should I attempt to do the steering wheel ribbon myself or am I getting in over my head with that?

Again, THANK YOU all for the feedback. I never would have figured the washer pump thing out without your help!

Not to chase you away from attempting the steering wheel clock spring check but keep in mind that's where the airbag is, so proceed with caution.

I don't have issue using aftermarket ribbon cables.

It's gonna work fine or not and you will know right away. If it's bad, send it back.
