Little clearance on front bump stops

Why is there so little clearance in my front bump stop? 4.5" lift BDS and duro bumps. Should there be more clearance or is this normal?

What would you suggest?

 

Are you having ride quality issues?

I think that would be okay. Your lift kit is comprised of new spindles and such, that may be a different dimension and shape than OEM, thus the clearance. This is still a better solution than the OEM bump stop.

 

Thanks! Yeah it's weird I was doing more research and alot of other trucks have very little clearance and some of them even ride on the bump stop.


Yes I have a king suspension system and with this bump stops it doesn't even allow the suspension to flex. I got over a little bump in the road and I can feel it making contact which is annoying. I have a message out to duro bumps to see what they suggest. I want more clearance so it can actually move a little . The back I have tons of clearance.
