Question for current Limited trim owners - Is it possible to install a power running board and bed step on the limited? Is the required wiring in place?

You can install power running boards and steps on pretty much any truck.

I doubt the wiring is run if your truck isn't optioned with them from the factory. But that's not to say it can't be done

I've got an SR5. There isn't wiring for the dash switch in my truck. I figure I'll have to make my own wiring harness. Toyota is missing out, not making these a complete kit. I've got all the parts ordered sans any wiring. Supposedly they're waiting to ship due to one hinge/motor being back ordered.

They probably are hoping people will add at time of purchase as they would potentially make more if you buy a higher trim or add them into your financing

Any updates on this? Did you order OEM or aftermarket? Any insight to wiring would be greatly appreciate.

Love got all the OEM parts, I recently got one connectors. Trying to find pins for the exterior sealed ones, then I'll work on a harness.
