Hello. Bout to go on a lil' trip. Like it says. Do you all think I would get better mpg's on my truck w/the BDX removed & the truck back to stock? Or what I currently have, the BDX on "Performance" setting with "Trail-throttle sensitivity?

My mods are a drop-in AFE filter, Doug Thorley long tube headers, DD single exhaust w/stock tailpipe. This is an odd combo I know, DD says I really need a dual exhaust to get the most from my LT's. I am just waiting until I can find a good deal that I can afford).

    Thank you!

Thanx TC210. I Was thinking that. There will be a couple big bills inland, but much of it is along the coast.
    THANX!!!

OK, on way up, I was going the exact speed limit (caravan trip w/new, young drive behind me). Of course I got a flat, drove around a small town looking for a place to put some air in the spare. And then stopping at a tire shop at another town to buy another tire.

So the way up, w/tune, I got 17.68 mpg, hand calculated. Dash said 18.00.

There were hills inland, but was coming down the hills too, final destination at sea level.

Pretty fair I'd say! What was your average MPH? Sounds like 70mph or below...

I forgot to check that. But like I said, I was doing the exact speed limit w/the driver behind me. Usually I cruise along at around 70 on the fwy. I might go back to stock for the ride home, or I might just leave it as is.
    Thank you.

OK, more useless information, just sharing. I should have reprogrammed to stock for way back, but did not. Same BDX setting, going 65 exactly (like I stated above, new driver in caravan, usually I cruise along between 70-75).

205 miles, 12 gallons, 17.08-mpg's hand calc., dash said 18.3.

Not too interesting since driving that slow is annoying and most of you-all Tundra people would find it annoying too.
