I know, there's a ton of threads on this but honestly Ive read and looked at so many, I'm confused.

I have a 2015 TRD Off Road Crewmax and I don't use it for off road driving except the occasional forest service road, use my 4Runner of that. I do pull my 21' bass boat and use as a DD, that's it. I'm tired of the factory look, need bigger tires and a small lift. I've only lifted my Land Cruisers in the past and there's only a couple lift options for those but seems to be hundreds of different lifts for a Tundra. Since I pull my boat and use for a DD, I don't want to get crazy, maybe 3" in the front and 1" in the rear, I also don't want to spend a fortune on a lift that I don't need for off road use. I also want to run 295/70/18 tires on my factory rims, seems that will give me the look I want without affecting the way it drives or tows. I don't really want to get into changing UCA and sway bar links so trying to keep it simple but keep a decent ride.

What would be my best lift to look at? Also, will I need a diff drop if I'm only going 2.5 - 3 inches? I guess it all depends on the type of lift I use?

Anyways I'm ready to order it and I don't know which way to go.

    Thanks for your help

I recently installed 3/2 Readylift. I really like the way it looks and drives.

I like the Billstein 6112 on top setting in the front, billstein 5160 shocks in the rear, and either coach builder shackles or a nice set of leaf springs that will give you lift in the rear.

The 6112 gave me about 2.5” lift up front and OME Dakar leaf springs gave me about 2” lift in the rear.
I’ve had this set up on my 2010 for 2 full years and it’s been nice since day one.

I use my truck for a whole bunch of daily driving, towing a mowing trailer several times a week, driving the twisty bumpy rough roads of southern Ohio, and black top highways. My truck sees a little bit of everything. The combo I’ve listed serves me very well.

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
Shouldn't need a diff drop for a 3/1. Most common is 5100s all around and a block in back or a shackle. The 6112/5160 boss mentions are a nice upgrade from that, but more $$ naturally. 5100s and a block should run 700ish range, add 100 or 2 for a shackle (depends on how crazy a shackle you want). Problem last few months has been supply chain. Most suspension stuff has been sold out everywhere. So its a matter of patience or what you can find.

You'll need to check the tires threads, but I think you might start getting into rubbing issues on your UCAs with stock rims(+60 offset still I think) with the 295/70s.
