Anyone done this on a gen3 yet?
    (Aka tommy gate)

    Considering it...
Wondering about potential issues/challenges with install?
    Should I DIY install?
    Cost?
Direction on where to buy/place to install (I'm in oregon)

    Thanks peeps!

    Thanks for the input
I agree with you as I've never seen a lift gate on a tundra, hence my question/inquiry with yall

Maybe I'll be the 1st? Lol

My main concern Is all the tech crap on the back of the truck, placement, realignment & so forth
I don't want to hear endless beeps & chimes as the gen3 makes enough in stock form

I usually see those on HD’s I feel like. How much do they weigh? I am wondering for payload reduction. Be pretty cool if you could pull it off. What sort of hauling do you do that needs a lift gate?

I think they are 500 pounds
So that would definitely affect my payload capacity & I'm most concerned about the extra burden on the rear suspension/sensors removal & placement on the lift gate setup

I do lots of truck stuff....construction material hauling, dump runs, deliveries for my business & helping those without a truck for hauling purposes & occasionally going on outdoor adventures (like kayaking)

Checked it out....I gotta go 2 hours west, north, or south to get to the nearest dealer....
    That's a bummer
