So I think I am ready for a lift wheel and tires for my stock 17.

I am not really truck savy as this is my first truck but found a shop that wants to do 6"pro comp lift with 35s toyo open country and 18wheels for 4,000

Is this good or am I getting ripped off lol?

He offered me 3500 with rough country lift I heard that was no good so he said pro comp for 500 more.

If that price includes install, That’s about right for a pro comp with wheels/Tires. And you should get the store’s warranty in case you have any issues which is good if you aren’t mechanically inclined.

    Definitely don’t go rough country.

    Post before and after pics!

Quality mods aren’t cheap man, but it’s like @Sean266 says, buy once cry once.
Better to spend the money on quality parts and install than cut corners and deal with the non-stop spending that comes from having to fix and replace parts.
Pro comp is legit, and with the shop handling the install, you should be good to go as long as you stay on top of the maintenance.

I bought my own kit, installed it myself, and after new tires, spacers, etc, I was right around 3500, so 4000 isn’t bad. Any shop you go to is going to charge a ton for the install, just the way it is.
You’re not getting ripped off though.

Post pics or we won’t neloeve that you’re rolling around in a big ass tundra and we’ll Just assume that you’re in a pastel colored Prius, just trolling our forum because we’re awesome. ;)

Are you using a homegrown shop or big brand, like 4wp or something?
