So I had a Toytec 3" lift installed about a year ago on my 2018 Tundra (picture attached shows the lift). Well ever since I got it, my truck feels loose and like it's floating on the road. I had an alignment and everything after the lift install, but the shop never mentioned any issues or concerns. Well now the edges of my front tires are wearing out, and when I look at it from the front I notice that the camber is off. I assume that it feels like it's floating because the tires aren't fully making contact with the ground.

After doing some research I read somewhere that if you go with a 3" + on a Tundra, that you have to swap out the upper control arms in order to get a proper alignment.

    So my questions are:
    1. Do I really need new longer upper control arms in order to get a proper alignment?
    2. Without getting too crazy, what are some lift packages that might give me a better ride? When I bought mine last year I wasn't doing as well financially. I can afford to get something better now.

A good alignment tech should still be able to get your alignment within stock specs, or very close to. The aftermarket control arms won't really help with camber, but really allows for better caster numbers.

Maybe try getting it aligned again with a new shop and share the alignment specs here? The lift you have from Toytec really isn't a bad kit.

SPC UCA’s will absolutely help a lot with camber. That’s 100% what the in/out adjustment of the ball joint is for.
Post your alignment numbers or we really can’t help much.
