I'm a new owner of a 2017 SR5 TRD Offroad Crewmax. I had a 2011 Rock Warrior some years ago that blew out the power steering when I put an OME 612 front kit on it.

I see that its the same kit as my 2017. I still have the kit (it spent all of a week on the truck). My question is: Am I in danger of this happening again if I install it on the 2017?

BTW. Love the Tundra...the stereo sound is utter crap!

    Thanks all,
    Rich

Does that mean I'm good to go with no worries installing on the new truck?

It can happen, and has happened on trucks- at random that are lifted.

So, the cure with the 2011 was to replace with a more heartier older model steering pump. If I run into this issue with the current truck, what's the cure?
