    I have a SR5 CM 4x4. Love the truck. I want to raise my truck a bit, but keep a little rake (I tow). I'm stuck between doing a Cornfed 2"x1" (front / rear) or doing the RoughCountry coil overs set to 2" front, or Icon (https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com...-accessories-22-up-tundra-front-exp-coilover/ ) (about 5x the cost) and doing the cornfed rear spacer. I don't do a ton of serious off-roading, mostly snow and forest service roads. Do you think I need the coilovers, or would I be fine with the spacer lift? I've always had spacers and never had a problem. I may just do the spacer lift and wait for something a little more economical (Bilstein) to come out for the front in the next year or so. Thoughts?

    spacer lifts are not meant for off roading, just for cruising around higher for larger tires on the street. They can do bad things off road, bend, break parts and if you search you should easily find pictures of examples, seen plenty of bent shocks from spacers in off road use.

    So it really depend on your use. Lots written here and online about pros/cons. Spacers can give some height for larger tires, but the stock shocks and coils are not meant to control the larger tires that you are probably installing = degraded ride and handling.

    Personally I would do coil overs once and right. I would also skip RC products, there are much better offerings around the same $. You can get a good coilover setup for about a grand. Eibach pro truck, Dobinson, OME, Toytec are all decent. Or for less $, Bilstein 6112 or 5100s will be better than RC or that spacer lift.

    I would spend the $ once and get something you will be happy with long term. PLENTY have gone the spacer route and very soon after moved to a lifted coilover system. No sense in wasting $ these days.

    Stillen CAI, DD 8” exhaust, Toytec Aluma coilovers, Icon leaf springs, SCS SR8 18x9 wheels, Cooper Rugged Trek 275/70/18 A/T Tires, Ecoological bumper shellz and grill surround, AJT interior black out kit, AJT shift knob. TRD pro style grill, VLED aqua blue footwell lights, MESO custom dome and map LED lights, swing case, Rough country bed mat, TRD pro headlights and fog lights, Morimoto XB tail lights and 3rd brake light.
    I went the spacer lift route 3in in the front and 1.5 back. I do no off-roading which is why I decided on that, plus it was more economical for me after shelling out money for the truck itself. I've had it for two years no issues and it rides nice. It is supposed to wear out your suspension components a lot faster though so I'll probably swap it out for Toytec Aluma 2.5's or something along those lines in a few years. It really just depends your use and what you are wanting to spend based on your current situation.

    So I have the Rough Country M1 2in leveling coils, and it ride just as good(if not better) than stock.37s

    go with the OEM TRD Tundra lift, its a full proper upgrade with warranty

    That helps! I was looking at those. Glad to hear you’re happy with them. Sounds like a better option than doing a spacer.

    If love to, but not wanting to spend that much. I’m not doing anything crazy with this truck. Just want a little more tired clearance and lose some of the rake.
