Leer 100XR factory tracks and Prinsu

I got a Leer 100XR cap over a year ago and ordered with factory tracks (Thule-compatible).

I'm just now getting around to adding a Prinsu platform, and noticed that the Leer factory tracks point outwards, and look like they've been installed the wrong way around. So no way to mount the Prinsu platform with the tracks as they are, and it's supposed to be compatible. I went to the dealer, we walked the lot and all the other Leer caps had the factory tracks installed the same way as mine - apparently that's how the Thule tracks work?

I've read on some Tacoma forums that you can flip the tracks, and it might make them more level, so I'm wondering if anyone here has done that with a Tundra shell?

The bolts are all rusted out too, so I'm going to have to drill them out and replace everything anyway. Dealer wasn't especially helpful about that.

Any ideas? Or should I just write-off these factory tracks and install something flatter?

 

that is BS, my LEER 100XR came from factory didn't look like yours. and I was able to mount my 80/20 bar on top.
I got mine directly from LEER outlet.

Thanks. I had the dealer switch them around to face the same way as yours and it worked fine with the Prinsu after that.

 

thinking of adding a Prinsu to my shell as well. How many inches does it add ? let's say from the fiberglass to top of the prinsu ?
Pretty tight in my garage already..lol
