    Hey all,

So i installed my AlphaRex Pros last night in the blizzard. Yeah i know i couldnt wait.

Ran into 2 issues i need help with.
    1) I bought S-V.4 H-7 bulbs to replace the halogen. I think they sent them with out the retaining socket the bulbs that is. All i see is the ball bearing there should be a collar with 1 notch on these bulbs right ? There is nothing for the 2 springs to hold the bulb in place.

2.) Having trouble leveling lights with the horizontal and Vertical adjustments. How many turns does it actually take to get these moved ? Is it typical to have them really far out brand new ? My truck is lifted 5" with 20x12 35x12.50 wheels so i know i will need adjusted down.

I dont want to break the screws and i have been adjusting them ALOT.

If there's no collars, I don't see how the bulbs would fit into your housings properly to make proper adjustments.

I just used a wall, and leveled the lights where I thought they should be. I haven't been flashed in the sequioa so I guess I did okay.

On my '02 I raised the lights until I started getting flashed, and then adjusted them back down some.

Edit: aftermarket housings on the sequioa. I remember turning them with a ratchet and watching the beam on the wall. I would wait until you have your sockets, and lights installed properly. You may need to "clock" the bulbs which is something that I hate doing. Tedious because big hands small work space.

I remember turning the adjustment wheels a good ways and we are at stock height. I think its just the nature of the beast with aftermarkets

Yeah i was turning them multiple times and did not see any movement. Guess thats partly to blame for having the truck halfway in the garage during a blizzard. It will not fit all the way in the garage LOL. What i think i need to do is use the garage door once all the snow is gone and use tape to mark the line on the door then adjust the lights. The Alphas actually have a channel for a long screw driver to reach the vertical adjustment. I was adjusting them with the housing off the truck and then reinstalling the housing to see if it moved. That what not to do when rushed.
