I have a 2020 Platinum, I plan to switch out the headlights to the 2019+ black TRD headlights and want to upgrade the front blinker and the rear back up bulb. I know that JDM ASTAR work as plug n play, but have been told that if I add any other led bulbs to the truck I will need resistors. Is there any way to change both the front blinker and rear back up WITHOUT adding resistor?

I upgraded the headlights on my 17 along with changing every other bulb to LED and added LED Fogs and Switchback blinkers. I bought all lights through Headlight Revolution and had to add the resistors to the headlights and blinkers. Totally worth it even with the resistors!

Reverse (rear back-up) lights conversion to LED bulbs require no resister...it's a simple bulb exhange. Additional resistance is required only when using LEDs for the turn signals.

You will be fine, no resistors with that swap.

Figured I would post on this thread. My HD camera comes on when I hit the brake, and also causing noise interference. The audio tech said it could be my led reverse bulbs causing the problem. I really don't need led bulbs as I got leds in my bumper that are super bright. Anyone know what might be causing this. Thanks
