In the new Tundras you can leave the car running and walk away with your keys in-hand and the engine and AC still running. I think it times out after a while which is fine.

    I need this in my 2018 1794.

I do not have push button start. Physical key and ignition switch.

I can accept a remote start that turns the car on along with the climate system bacj at whatever on/off and temp setting it was at before the car was last turned off. This would be fine so long as the car also remains locked.

    suggestions?

I have a start-x remote start from Amazon. Install was easy. I've had it since December of 2021. Some people don't like that you have to press your lock button 3 times to get it to start but it doesn't bother me.

My truck will just turn back on with everything I left on but I don't have climate control, just knobs. i would think it would work the same though? Do your settings normally stay when you restart?

That start-X can also accept a cell phone module and the annual service is fairly inexpensive last time I looked.

one thing to note, the low tire light stays on when you remote start until you put the key in and turn it. Might even have to put it in drive then it goes away immediately, normal behavior.

I know james @ tech12volts also sells a similar unit from a different brand or at least he used to. if he does it might be a better way to go as he is extremely helpful over the phone if you have any questions (got my stereo from him)
