Screenshot_20241016_092721_Gallery.jpg I have recently taken the head covers off my 5.7 to replace all gaskets orings, etc. It was my first time- went well. Until it didnt... lol. Everything I buttoned up is perfect, but apparently during the process, I compromised the cam tower seals. I've lost about 1qt of liquid gold in about 2k miles... about to rip it all apart and do it again and go down another layer to fix my new issue. Therein lies my question... can I reuse all 20 gaskets and orings I just installed or do they need to be replaced with new again? Also, any tips or helpful input for my upcoming undertaking? Thanks much in advance...

I doubt changing the VC gasket would cause a cam tower leak. Did you use OEM gaskets or aftermarket? I trust FelPro but not much else. Use some cleaner and see if you can isolate where it’s leaking. Might also get new gaskets and do it again using a bit of FIPG at the interface with cam covers under the VC.
