Got this is the mail TODAY. Finally Toyota has addressed the issue with DIM front turn signals on certain 2018-2020 Tundra's. In the recall, they claim the wire harness to the front turn signals was installed incorrectly. Not sure I buy that. I think they just used low wattage bulbs that were not nearly bright enough. I noticed this the very first day I brought my truck home. First thing I bought for this truck was LED front turn signal bulbs, as well as all interior LED's. If the wire harness was not correct then those LED's would not burn SO BRIGHT. They are bright as crap, seriously bright. I don't remember the name brand, but got them off Amazon for cheap. Plug and Play, no hyper flash, no issues at all. I plan on calling my Toyota Service Manager to see if they still need to check it out. Any of you get this recall yet?

If that's the case then they can do it for me.

Get ready to fight hyperflash after the harness is corrected. I think I've got the same bulbs that you have installed, and after I swapped the wires myself I ran into hyperflash intermittently on the passenger side. Resistors fixed that, but I ended up swapping back to the OE bulbs, which are now as bright as they should be.

Some have said that the dealership won't do the fix if you have LED bulbs installed, just an FYI...

Then I might as well leave it alone. Working fine the way they are now. Let that sleeping dog lay.
