So apparently there’s a national tire shortage just in time for me to move up to 35s. I want an AT tire.

My choices are the KO2 E rated and the Toyo AT3 D rated.

I don’t do any rock crawling but plan on doing some mountain trails up here in NorCal... dirt roads and shallow streams.

This is a daily driver as well so noise does matter.

With my limited options which would you go with?

    haha..welcome to my world.
    falken at3w another option.
AT3 would be my choice but E rated which they dont make in 35 and 18..ugh..only D and F in that size.

AT3 have a newer tread design vs K02 imo. KO2 look more aggressive though.
both snowflakes rated so will be great for those trips to Tahoe.

I just ordered AT3s...I didn’t want E rated side walls...AT3 offers SL Load Range which is more aligned to my use case.

In D rated? Do you feel they will hold up off road?

    Function before sparkle.
I decided to try the KO2's on my Tundra after having previous models on other trucks. I can't wait for them to wear out. Fell below my expectations for traction (specifically on ice covered roads) and are VERY noisy. They are especially noisy between 52 and 60 mph. Worse than the BFG Mud I have run in the past.

Unless something really special draws me away, I will be going back to my all time fav: Cooper STT Maxx. Great traction and quiet.

Thanks all. I pulled the trigger on the Toyo AT3s. Gut call. Will post after I’ve driven them for a while.

I think it depends...anything with E load rating is heavy, stiff and really ideal for 3/4 trucks. For what you described an all season Michelin would be fine.

You’ll love them. I’ve had them for over 6 months in that same size. They’ve been great in all weather so far
