New member & 1st time Tundra owner (Just picked up a 2020 SR 4x4). Love this truck but it’s got no keyless entry & dealer confirmed by vin, that this base model truck never had it. Before I have a Viper Alarm installed (not my 1st choice to get keyless entry), I’m curious if one could just buy a fob & have it programmed to the truck’s keyless receiver? I’m told the keyless entry receiver (part 897A0-0C031) is also the receiver for the TPMS system. So, if my truck has a functioning TPMS system, should it not have this part & the ability to have keyless entry, or is mine just lacking some key wiring to & from the receiver? I was going to look at the plug on mine to see if all the wires were utilized but it’s mounted above the drivers door beneath the headliner & is a pain to get to & somewhat close to some airbags. What am I missing? Adding Keyless should not be this hard (or is it)? Thanks for any help or recommendations.……Red

I owned a 2020 SR that came with just 2 keys from the dealer. Compustar is your answer. Go with T13 remote for proximity unlock (walk up to the truck and doors unlock). Now I have alarm, keyless entry, and remote start. Also an option for drone mobile (I did not use). The system is easy to install (plug n play). Need only solderd 3 wires.

My 19 SR has keyless entry, I believe cloth seats get keyless.
