Kenwood HU Recommendations

Wondering if some of you Kenwood fans could help me with some suggestions. I'm getting tired of my Alpine ILX-207 and its foibles and I think I'd like to give Kenwood a try.

• Not looking for new models - not in the budget. Example - I saw a nice DMX906s on FB for $300. Don't worry about the price, I'm just looking for suggestions on models I might find used
• Carplay/Android wireless preferred, but wired is okay if it's something really good
• HD Radio required - yes, I still listen to the good 'ol radio waves a lot
• Buttons on the bottom of screen or none at all - I don't like the models I see with with controls on the left

I think one of the troubles with the 207 is its age, 2017. Saw the 906s is from 2019 so hoping it's a little better. Currently using a Maestro for connection. Thanks!

 

I have a Kenwood DMX1037S that I pulled out from my other truck. It's a all around great unit. Has all of the functionality that you're asking for plus more. Getting rid of it. I just posted it on FB marketplace if you're interested. Here's my FB post.
