For those with Kenwood headunits This site, https://www.kenwood.com/cs/ce/firmware/
shows all firmware updates. Just plug in your model number where it says, and if an update is available it will pop up. The site also states when the model was made. I found out that I bought a 2018 model when I was told by seller it was a 2019 model.
