I would like to offer help and advice to other Tundra owners about keeping mice out of their trucks. Once they get into a vehicle, it can be a real problem. I had an older Miata that they got into and I could never get the smell out of it, I had to get rid of the car. I made a video of what I did, but I don't see how I can upload a video, if anyone knows how let me know. Anyway, I was noticing chewed-up paper on the floor and in the center console. I had no idea how they were getting in until I pulled the cabin filter out and noticed seeds and paper on it. Under the hood under the wipers there is a vented plastic cover that you can lift off and under that on the passenger side there is a hole for the heater intake, which has no cover on it, so that can easily get in to where the cabin filter is, then they can get anywhere in the truck. I covered mine with wire mesh. There is a metal cover that is under the vented plastic cover that holds the wiper motor and arms, which needs to come off so that you can have easy access to the hole. It is really easy to do once you start on it, it only took about a 1/2 hour. I used self tapping metal screws so I did not have to drill. I screened shot a couple of photos from the video and attached them to give you the idea. Also, there are two small holes on both sides of the truck that you need to also cover, which shows in the 1st photo.

Just fluid film the undercarriage. Varmints don't like it and no rust.
