When I installed my Bilstein 5100's, they had me install spacer washers to the bump stops. I just installed an OME front lift with 613 springs. Should I remove those spacers or keep them?

Do you have a source or reason for that? I'm just curious since the OME lift didn't come with any instructions or spacers.

You’re still using the same uca, lower control arm and spindle. So you still have to stay within the limits of what these factory components are designed for.

The spacers are for the added distance your lift put between the bumpstops and the lca so you don't bottom out your suspension.. Since you maintained the lift, keep them or upgrade

That makes sense. But why wouldn't OME include these spacers or make any mention of making sure to adjust the bump stops?

That sir I have no idea about. Just have to use your better judgement on what needs to be replaced and left "as is" with your usage etc..

those spacers with the bistein kit are there to make up for the bilstein shock being too long at full compression compared to stock.

the ome shock may have the same overall length as stock at full comp. gotta look at that figure

I don't have the bump stop spacers on mine but want to add them. Can anyone please measure the size of the spacer. OR take a pic so I can get an idea what I need. Is it a special spacer? OR is it something that I can probably find similar (like a big washer) at home depot or something? Thanks

Call Bilstein and OME and see what they say. I’m guessing you don’t need them. I believe the 5100 need them due to coil bind issues. Not overall shock length. But I would verify with the manufacturer

Whoa, what kit did those come with? The ones that came with my 5100 kit were basically fender washers, maybe 1/8" thick max.

They are Boss4x4, with my 6112 kit. I upgraded and ended up not using them.
