New to this forum but have followed it for a while and have gotten lots of good info.
I have The factory gray Katzkins and have had them for about 4 years. The driver seat is starting to crack and the side is blowing out. Told they were out of warranty and was quoted $300 to replace the bottom portion of the katzkin seat. Does that sound reasonable?552DAE91-C3BE-4ADB-A423-EA645B1C9AA4.jpg

Including install? Still seems pricey because a whole basic black set is $550 on eBay.

Your bottom replacement may look a bit different compared to the top part and all the other seats that have been weathered/UV faded. Have you thought of repairing the side and restoring all of it?

I appreciate the feedback. I called Katzkin and they were the ones who told me just to replace the bottom. I have thought about the difference due to fading etc but man the other seats look like they were installed yesterday.

-yes the $300 includes the installation

My driver side seat is starting to look the same. I'm thinking about changing out both front seats when I do this.

Well..... I'm contemplating adding the cooled seats in the process and I don't have perforated leather seats.
