So today I had K37 deaver springs put on my crewmax. There has been much debate over the threads I have read especially some that stated that the k37s actually lowered their rear end. I spoke with Jim at deaver and he recommended that I run the K37 but modified because I couldn’t afford to lower due to having 35 tires just installed. I also bought the Total Chaos shackles to pair with the springs And Bilstein 5100 1.5 lift w/reservoirs. I was told because I’m not hauling 500+ lbs a day in my bed this was the preferred springs to get (occasionally tow a trailer to go camping a few times a year) they installed and modified my springs so they sat perfectly with my Bilstein 5100 on the top setting in the front. So far the ride is great and I even went through a little dirt whoop section to try it out. So far no issues and no rubbing/squeaking of anything. Here’s a photo for the rest of you thinking of running something similar.

Some say my U748s will sit that low…. They’re still nearly +4” from stock, and I have a canopy, bedslide, Dometic fridge, and a tote that weighs about 50# in the bed 100% of the time…. They’ll settle, but taking a long time! Yours looks great. Wonder where they’ll eventually sit.

Looks good. I run the U748HD with an overload leaf and an extra leaf. Never had issues with it sagging and the rear end constantly has about 400 pounds in the rear. I tow every few weeks too

I agree because on my last deavers they said it would settle 1- 1/2 inch lower and it literally never did but it was fine because I was planning on Long traveling the Tacoma anyway so it didn’t really affect me long since LT sat perfectly with it.

the ride quality is great. I don’t have any issues at all. I’m sure if I took all the weight off the rear it might be a little stiff. But I have run a dual swing bumper, loaded Leitner rack, and roof top tent half the year and it’s done great. No change in ride with the tent on or off. No sag when towing my 17 foot trailer either
