Hi, need some info, i have a 2012 5.7 tundra with 135,000 miles never had any issues...yesterday i went to start truck and it clicked when i turned the key. I just recently purchased a new battery and the electronics were working fine...tried several more times to turn the key just clicked. Tried one more time and it started...I have tired several more times today all was good, drove the truck for 4 miles shut it off went back and hour later it wouldn't start . this time after numerous attempts it still would not start. I am thinking its the starter but it is not spinning. any ideas would help thxs

Is the battery charging? Clean terminals? Is everything else working (radio, AC fan, etc...) when you turn on the key? If that's all good maybe the starter or starter solenoid.

I would say starter as well and possibly a bad battery. It happens. May want to load test it to rule it out.

If you could get at it, I'd whack the starter with a hammer (not hard) and try and crank it. If it's warm or smells like electrical, it's likely the starter. Most say it's a PITA to replace.. Go OEM.

Since you just put a new battery in, I would start there.

Loose battery connection, broken clamp, or a dud battery? Check connections, take battery to autoZone and have the battery tested. Then go from there.
