Nice. I own a couple of kimbers. Tack drivers and easy to shoot in 45.

There is nothing like shooting a full size 1911 in 45, from cheap to high end there's just something about them. Congratulations and enjoy!!

Well, I'll definitely see if there's a difference. I own a cheap revolver (Taurus) which is fun to shoot but the trigger pull is like a hauling a TT out of tow mode. My wife's S&W is a dream in comparison but I still lean towards revolvers. The 4-5 lb trigger pull on this Kimber will really be new for me.

    I had a 9mm Kimber years ago.
Great gun, it just didn't like remanufactured ammo.
None of my 9mm 1911s did.

    Great score...

I've still got Bond Arms on my list. A nice derringer would be a great EDC.

Those are very nice. For whatever reason once I went Staccato it’s hard to steer away from them. My current EDC is a Glock G43X. Small and easy to conceal. But I’m switching over the Staccato CS in a month or so.

the ease of shooting the Staccato’s. It feels like cheating. The P and XC’s are insanely easy to get on target. Almost absolutely no recoil.

I was a Glock fanboy before switching over. Mainly for the reliability. Glocks are great guns but definitely don’t shoot as well since they’re polymer frames. I went SIG for a while and carried a P320 AXG PRO. Also an excellent gun with a great all steel feel.

But at the end of the day, Staccato’s take the cake. Other than the fact that they are high maintenance guns, they outshoot my other pistols. Plus they’re made in America so they can have my money.
