Been a Ford guy for as long as I can remember. Currently own a 1951 F1, 1963 F100, & 2017 F250. I have been waiting for my build date for my special ordered 2023 F250 to be provided by Ford for the past 9 months….and about two weeks ago I get a refund to my AE for the deposit I placed when ordered, in addition to the regular emails from Ford Corporate saying they still can’t provide a build date and will be in touch again in 45-days.

So with 126,000ish miles on my Super Duty Diesel and no build date in site…I started looking around for something else, and landed on the third gen Tundra’s.

After several weeks of searching and test driving, I went with 2022 Crew Max Limited 4WD with the TRD off-road package (hope k got that all correct , as I’m truly new to the whole Toyota thing).

Took the high speed rail system from Orlando FL to Boca Raton, Ubered to the dealership on X-Mas eve, did my test drive on the truck I had chosen sight unseen the day before via internet and texts to the Ft Lauderdale Airport to pick up my significant other who flew in to meet for this purchase event, and then we both drove back to the dealership to finalize and pay.

So far….this lease turn in with only 13k miles and in perfect condition has been better than expected!!

We immediately drove across the State of Fla to the Naples area for X-Mas, then a week of errands and running around SWFL, before heading out New Years Day at 3am to drop her at the Tampa Airport and then I drove on to Orlando. Those miles around SWFL were amazing, and the highway time with all of he technology in this truck made highway driving the most comfortable drive I can remember making.

So now I’m waiting for FedEx to deliver the Graphene Ceramic and all supporting cleaner and materials, so I can thoroughly clean and protect the finish, before enjoying this new to me great truck for many many years to come.

ok, I’ve tried 4-5 times to upload a pic of my new truck to this post and to my member info for this site with zero success. I’ll come back again and try posting a pic or two once this new post get up.
