With a adapter i have a killer deal on rims and new tires (200) and need to see if anyone has any idea if that size would fit on this 06 tundra sr5. Any help would be great, Thanks

Also the Radio volume doesnt move at all. Is that a radio issue or could it be the amp?

    None yet.
    I have a stock 2010 Tundra SR5 TRD. It came from the factory with 275/65 R18, so I don't see a problem.

Update: I just realized your 2006 is a first Gen, so I don't know. The guide that was provided should tell you.

    Why ditch 16s?

Ok, according to the guide they will not fit. The 16's i have are steel wheels. The 18's are 200 for the tire and rim. Great deal but won't work and they are nice looking. Oh well

Don't quote me, but I've heard that they dont make as many sizes as 17s or 18s.

If your deck is factory try pulling on the knob and turning it. That's what I have to do.

Ah. I just would prefer more rubber than rim.

Well that gives me hope. A 275/65r18 would probably work. Its just tough because I would need to get adapters for it and cant really test fit them.

We had a 2004 Highlander before We traded up to a 2017. The 2004 Highlander radio, which is similar to or same model as my 2004 Tundra and possibly same for 2006 SR5, I think ?
All that to say, the problem We had on the 2004 was the volume would indeed not adjust but most of the time even if you veryyyy slightly rotated volume knob, it would jump from vol 10 to say 30 or vice versa. Damn thing had a mind of it's own. Found a fairly new one at our Local pick-a-part place(Raceway) and everything was then good in the world again !

I would not think of reducing from 6 lug to 5 lug. Trust that the Toyota engineering designed it that way for a reason, which involves a lot of physics, mechanical parts, and equations considering horsepower, weight, braking, etc.

I have 275/65/18's on my 2005 DC and they fit great. Just need to lift it about 2", which I did with Icon 2.5 coilovers.
