On my 2000 Tundra, V8, 4.7, I had to cut the wiring harness before removing the alternator because I couldn't unplug it. Starting at the side closest to the engine the wire colors were Yellow-Red-White, with R as the center.

New alternator with new pigtail plugged in but need to connect the original wiring to the new plug. The new wires, starting at the side closest to the engine are Blk-Green-Red with Green in the center.

No installation instructions came with the new wiring harness.

So, just to be sure, I connect the positions, regardless of color. So, it would be (wiring harness to new alternator pigtail, starting closest to the engine and moving Left to Right):

Yellow to Black, Red to Green, and White to Red.

    Is that correct?

I am on company computer, and cannot view YT video. This should have the wiring in the video that you need or at least let you rule out some stuff.
