What I’m working with; 08 2wd crew max currently slammmed

Current suspension; DJM lower control arms 3” drop, red/blue bilstien shocks, TRD front and rear sway bars, sos rear flip kit, cal tracs, helper bags, shorter yellow rear bilstiens

Formally had; stock black SR5 shocks with 100k and a ready lift spacer on 33’s

*Road conditions where I’m at are complete crap and I’m getting beat to death with the potholes and so on.

I have three readily available choices and need help from others who have had or have ridden in a truck with these shocks.

    *Budget is 1,000 ish

First: ‘15 TRD pro oem bilstien with what I was told 150 miles, $975

    Second:Eibach 2.0’s brand new

Third:And then a new contender emerged

I’ll have to reinstall my oem lower control arms with ball joints and my rear shackles. I’m aiming to have a leveled truck and run a highway 33” on an oem 18” or 20” wheel. Zero off-roading as this is a highway queen. Plus I hate dirty trucks. I’m the asshat who tries to hypermile a tank ;)

That bds kit you posted is 2k

I’d probably go with a bilstein setup if I had 1000 to spend

Asking 2k but he will take less. I don’t know enough at all about it. That’s the “wild card” option.

Problem I know of with the oem Holsteins are they can’t be rebuilt and only offer 2” from what I’ve read. So I’d have to add a half inch shim on each side to level it?

Bilstein 5100 setup has done well by plenty for members, check into that setup

Everything I’ve read says they ride harder than the oem yellow and blue off road suspension. Some have said the eibachs are an improvement.

Ride is subjective to a lot of people.

I would go with the pro Bilsteins if they have 150 miles actually on them.

I guess you are right. IMO 5100s are a soft smooth ride with a bit of performance over OEM. Best bang for the buck. Best is likely Fox.

Oem fox’s? Can’t find this under 2500 locally or online.

I’m trying to upload a photo of the ‘15 TRD bilstiens. They have, beat I can tell, is a spacer on top of them. It’s huge like 4”. I’d like to find an oem pro setup, people do bullshit so who know if the mileage is really 200 or less….
