I know my wirwork skills aren't what some people's or but it's all installed.
I ordered JL audio 10" subs and box .
JL audio 5 channel amp and wiring harness.
Got sound deadening in floors and doors.
Hardest part was getting power wires through, fire wall.
    It all sounds great .
    I feel 21 again.
Tech12volts was great to deal with.
Great product and even better service .
Would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade audio .

Good job dude. I don’t have the balls to do it anymore. I used to do it all the time, now I just pay someone.

    I paid someone as well.

Was a big job with all the speakers and sub and I am just too damn old for that shit.

I think there is a line of time/money that I crossed.

Me too.. I’m having Crutchfield install 2 amps 4 speakers, and my subs in August. It was the earliest appointment that had. It’s not worth me spending 4-5 partial days for something they can do in 5-6 hours. It’s not cheap, but the equipment isn’t cheap either.

The change is well worth it.
It's about 50 miles one way to work for me.
I drive slow . So about an hour.
Two hours a day at minimum in truck.
And for some reason unknown to me .
I get to work every day an hour and half early.
I sit in truck and listen to radio and catch up on forum post.
So the amount of time I spend listing to truck audio I didn't mind the cash ive put in it.
And would love to find a new HU I like.
Im not sure I want to add up what I've spent though .
    Maybe $400 in sound deadening.
    Infinity kappa's all around.
    Subs , amp .
    Smittybilt front bumper.
Rough country rear bumper and running boards.
    Flowmaster exhaust.
    It's an addiction.

I didn't know Crutchfield did installs? Thought they just had their hands in sales.

They do installs here at their retail store. They are not the cheapest, but everywhere else around here is close to the same price and fly by night. I live in a rual area not many choices. I have been buying gear from Them since I was 20. They do amazing work and they back it up. They did my boat a few years ago also and it was a complicated install. If you live in the area, I highly recommend them.

Haven't noticed any changes in phone.
I do need to install a bass knob though.
I'm adjusting bass on head unit now.
When I turn it up it also turns up bass in door speakers.
I'd like to have the doors set for highs and mids .
And adjust bass on subs alone.
