    20180714_212806.jpg I'm the proud owner of a "new" 2014 Tundra SR5 Crewmax 4×4 with the 5.7L. It is pretty much stock right now but after lurking around this group for about a month you guys have me planning all types of changes.

    There were several reasons I went with the Tundra.

    1. Toyota reliability. While people tend to complain about the mpg, I looked at the consistency of the engine / transmission combo as a big plus. The kinks have long been worked out.

    2. Indianapolis is dominated by Fords, rusty Dodges and the GM twins. It is nice to have something that stands out in the crowd even if it is mostly stock right now.

    Happy to be a part of this great community.

    It is crazy how strong these trucks run. First couple of days I tried to baby it to see what kind of mpg I could squeeze out of it. Then I smashed the gas getting on the interstate.... Then I found tow / haul mode.... I haven't looked at mpg since. Haha!
