Hey everybody . Just wanted to share some things I’ve learned and get some opinions about upgrading my sound . Finally found the right wiring diagram for my truck at ALLDATA.COM. Looks the the jbl amp is 8channels , 1-sub, 2-center dash, 3 and 4 rear doors, 5 and 6 front door woofers, 7 and 8 left and right dash wired in parallel with front door tweeters. So far I’ve replaced the factory sub with a custom box with 2 jl 10tw3-d4’s powered by a jl xd1000/1v2. I tapped into the factory sub wires for my signal.
    It’s absolutely awesome!
Now I’m thinking about replacing the door speakers with jl c5-650’s , powering them with a jl xd 450/4v2 amp. My plan is to tap into the 4 sets of wires on the output side of factory amp, convert them to rca, send that to jl amp then back to harness . Any ideas or opinions will be greatly appreciated!
