I’ve been a Tundra (2018 SR5 TRD Off-road Double Cab) owner for a month now and my truck is a lease takeover so it wasn’t spec’d out as I would order it. The truck has the base stereo and I’m used to a little more oomph. I’ve found a local guy who has the JBL package speakers, sub and amp for sale as he upgraded. I’m curious to know if it would be a simple plug and play installation? I can get it all for $200 so it’s the right price. Any expertise would be appreciated. Thanks

Nope, dont do it, it will not be worth it. Plus, i think you have to have the JBL head unit to go along with it as well. Save for a couple more months and visit some of our audio build threads

JBL is garbage stock. I just swapped my HU out, made it more bearable.

Spend money on upgrading to aftermarket stuff.

He should pay you to take the JBL, LOL. (if Stock JBL)

I Installed a pioneer with 50 watts per channel, left the stock speakers. Huge improvement in our 2007.
