    Loose wire and/or fried channel.

    How did you make your connections? Wire nuts? Butt splice or similar crimp? Solder and heatshrink? Twist and electrical tape?

    Only two of the four I just listed are acceptable, the other two are skimp-ass, rigged garbage that any reasonable human should be ashamed to use.

    One of the two acceptable methods in that list needs to have tug-test done after to ensure solid connection.
