Hello from TX! I hope each and everyone are having a great evening. After narrowing down my choices with UCAs, I ended uo buying JBA UCAs HD HC. I got it last Tuesday and finally had the chance to open the package and immediately noticed the gap on the passenger side where the ball joint sits upon inspecting. Driver side looks perfect and no gap. Please see attached photos for reference.

Is this considered a defect? Would this gap pose a serious problem when wheeling hard? I already emailed Marlin and still waiting for his response. I’d like to hear your opinion about this and its structural integrity and what would you do if this was yours. Return? Install? Please let me know. Thank you in advance.

All 3 sets that I have installed on trucks have had that gap. Haven’t seen any issues to date off any of the sets. Some hard wheeling, beach blasting, daily driving, etc.

Should be good, but best that you checked with him.

The company also said the same. I had to make sure as peace of mind is everything. Thanks for your input. I really appreciate it.
