The ticking is starting to drive me crazy and I think it’s causing my p0420 and p0430. Yes, I replaced O2 sensors with denso, air filter, cleaned throttle body, new maf, and steering shaft seal.

I’m just pricing things out and it looks like I can get oem manifolds for a bit cheaper with the 25% off sale going at serra.

    17104-50200 RH Manifold Sub-Assembly

    17105-50190 LF Manifold Sub-Assembly

17173-50030 RH Gasket Manifold to Head

17198-50010 LH Gasket Manifold to Head

    90080-12008 x16 Manifold Studs

    90080-17187 x16 Manifold Nuts

90080-12007 x6 Studs for where Manifold connects to Cat

90080-17187 x6 Nuts for where Manifold connects to Cat

90080-43036 x2 Gasket for where Manifold connects to Cat

90080-11589 x8 Replacement bolts for mounting heat shield

90126-A0014 x4 Replacement studs for SAIS air tube

90178-A0023 x4 Replacement bolts for SAIS air tube

    17376-50010 x2 SAIS airtube Gasket

All that comes out to $730 shipped from Serra Toyota. Am I missing anything? I’m going to try to reuse the heat shields and also they aren’t available. I feel like something has got to be off here? I always remember people saying oem manifolds are crazy expensive and headers are half the cost.

JBA shorties run around $900 and then I’d still have to spend around $200 or so on oem studs and mls gaskets. So it would be $1100 before install.

Curious yalls thoughts that have either used headers in 05-06 tundra or replaced with stock manifold. I will probably pay someone to do the labor. What can I expect labor wise? Around $1000? I’ve done timing belt, rack and pinion, suspension, etc, by myself. But I don’t want to deal with the nightmare of exhaust studs.

I didn't believe it, so I copied and pasted into worldtoyota.com parts and I came up with the same! Discounted from $1408! Order that shit now! Even if it's a $1000 install bill, you're doing good, IMO.

Also, you know you're never going to have issues with OEM. These trucks are sensitive to aftermarket pieces. A little more noise isn't worth the possible headaches for the JBAs.
